Here we go again!

This is embarrassing that it has been 5 months since updating this blog! I am plagued with being an idealist, constantly starting things with every intention of being disciplined but.....

Items of interest since last blog post:

> Gregory Harold was born on October 5, 2005. He weighed 8lb 6oz. VBAC!
> We visited the States from Dec. 31-Jan. 17, during which time Gregory was baptized in Newport News, VA with our church family at Covenant Heritage Reformed Fellowship.
> We have been to Oberammergau (Garmisch-Partenkirchen area).


Items we have discussed frequently or recently:

> Declining birth rates in Europe (in spite of dominant Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy) and astronomical abortion rates in many countries.
> "The Church" (As in "what is it?" etc.)
> Karl's latest reading of the early Church fathers (quite dry if you ask me, but he has been plowing through them one by one.) He has finished Eusebius and has moved on to Ambrose and a few others.
> The latest Muslim uprising over ther cartoons of the prophet Mohammed
> Current U.S. foreign policy toward the Middle East (to include SOS Condoleezza Rice's latest request for $75 million to promote the eternal savior "democracy" in Iran and bring Iranian student to the States to study)
> Traditional vs. Classical education methods etc.

What we've been reading:
